- The merged PDF is created entirely in your browser using pdf-lib.
- Nothing is uploaded to any server. Your files never leave your device.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are my PDFs uploaded to a server?
No. All merging happens entirely in your browser using pdf-lib. Your files never leave your device and are never sent to any server.
How many PDFs can I merge at once?
There is no limit on the number of files. The only constraint is your device's available RAM. Most computers handle dozens of PDFs with no issues.
Can I change the order of the PDFs?
Yes. Use the ↑ and ↓ buttons next to each file to move it up or down in the list. The merged PDF will follow this order exactly.
Will the formatting and images be preserved?
Yes. pdf-lib copies the pages directly — it does not re-render them. Text, images, fonts, and layout are preserved exactly as in the originals.
Can I merge password-protected PDFs?
No. Encrypted or password-protected PDFs cannot be processed. Remove the password first using a PDF reader, then merge.
What's the maximum file size per PDF?
There is no server-side size limit. Very large PDFs (hundreds of MB) may take a few seconds to process on slower devices, but there is no hard cap.
