Is my image uploaded to a server?
No. The AI model runs entirely in your browser using WebAssembly. Your image never leaves your device — not even a single byte is transmitted to any server. This is unlike remove.bg, Canva, and most other background removers.
Why does the first image take longer?
The AI model (~35 MB) is downloaded from a CDN on your first use and cached in your browser's storage. After that, all subsequent images process quickly without any download — even offline.
What format is the output?
The output is always a PNG with a transparent background (alpha channel). PNG is the only format that supports transparency, which is why JPG output is not offered.
How do I use the transparent image?
The transparent PNG can be dragged directly into Canva, Figma, Photoshop, PowerPoint, or any design tool. You can also place it on top of any background colour or image in your video editor.
What is the maximum image size?
There is no hard file size limit — it depends on your device's memory. Images up to 12 MP (4000×3000) process well on most modern devices. Very large images (20 MP+) may run slowly on older hardware.
