Add Line Numbers
FreeAdd line numbers to each line of your text with customizable formatting options.
How to Use
- Paste your text into the input box
- Adjust the start number if needed (default is 1)
- Choose your preferred separator style
- Toggle padding and empty line options as needed
- Copy the numbered result
Options Explained
- Start Number: Set the first line number (useful for continuing from a previous list).
- Separator: Choose what appears between the number and the text (period, colon, tab, etc.).
- Pad Numbers: Aligns numbers by adding leading spaces (e.g., " 1" instead of "1" when you have 10+ lines).
- Skip Empty Lines: Empty lines won't get a number, keeping your numbering sequential.
